What is your style of photography?
We like to shoot in a candid/documentary/photojournalistic way, i.e. we will blend in and take photographs of the day as it unfolds. We will shoot some portraits as well, but we can discuss this with you before the day.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we do. We currently carry £1M in Public Liability Insurance, together with £1M in Professional Indemnity Insurance. We also carry £100,000 in insurance against cyber and data threats.
What sort of backup process do you have?
This is an incredibly important question which we don't really get asked enough!
On the day of your wedding, our main camera body carries dual memory cards, which means that a backup of your photographs will be made immediately. During the day we systematically backup the pictures to the Cloud as jpegs. When we return home, your photographs are backed up to a computer hard drive, an external drive and to the Cloud once more.
Do you work with an assistant or second photographer?
With Foster Sheehan we come as a package, you will have both John and Claire at your Big Day at no additional cost, ensuring we can capture as much of your special day as possible.
In what format will I receive my photographs?
We will deliver a full set of high resolution colour and black and white images in a digital album. Those photographs can be downloaded, favourited or shared on social media. You can also purchase prints through the online album, should you wish to do so.
When will we receive our photographs?
Generally speaking we will try and get your photographs to you as quickly as possible, but you should allow anything from 4 to 6 weeks after your wedding day.
